1+2+3+4+ Get that Body Right....

First week of training down, MANY more to go! :o)

Last night Drew and I met with our trainer and he kicked our butts. I knew working out is going to be hard work, but the problem is last night was just supposed to be the assessment. lol. This man had me jumping up and around in order to get my heart rate up and boy did it. I was 2 seconds from fainting, vomiting or plain straight giving up. With a couple of extra breaks in between sets I persevered. Some how I managed to make it through the entire work out.

We worked my glutes, abs, shoulders, quads, you name it we worked it. But the most important thing we worked out last night was my mind. I know that if i push myself just that much further, I can go just that much farther. And its a great feeling.

TV Monitor

  I think it goes without saying that someone needs to monitor and manage what comes on the televisions in the gym. I mean, while I do appreciate the convenience and accessibility that comes with having a personal TV on my Stair Master, I do not appreciate the Papa John's commercials. Or the KFC commercials, and DEFINITELY not those that belong to Golden Corral: All You Can Eat Buffet. Are you trying to test my will power? Are you wanting me to take a step back and enjoy a few slices of pizza?? I DON'T THINK SO!

I know times are going to get tougher, but I'm stronger. :o) I know what I want and I remember what got me here and I push through.

Last night at the gym was difficult. With in the first 3 mins of my work out I was ready to sit back down. (And the commercials didn't help either.) Put I pushed through and made it to the end. 2.6 miles of cardio and some free weight lifts and my work out was done.
